Project Wonderful is so Wonderful

I have been playing around with Project Wonderful for about a month now, and I think they have a lot to offer to help new bloggers and crafters get the word out on their art.

Project Wonderful offers two services, the first is the ability for you to advertise your products on blogs and other website the second is for you to have advertisements on your own site or blog and the potential to make some money.   I personally love to see all the artist that advertise on our page and they give me ideas for Artist features so I think its useful for content on my blog, we have our bidding set at $0.00 to start so a lot of the advertisers on our page do not pay a dime and we will always keep it that way.

Advertising your Product

What I like about their advertising service is that you can put your ad's on auto, you just pick a few categories and have them bid on ads for you, you can also pick a budget that you set or you can bid manually.  I prefer to bid manually because I have control over where my ad's go.  Project Wonderful is special in the fact that it allows you to target your audience and it also allows you to bid on ad's and if your the only bidder you don't pay, so you could start to play around with it and not have a cent to go towards advertising, as long as  you bid $0.00 you get free advertising and how great is that?

So what are you waiting for check out Project Wonderful, need help with making your ad, message me I can help!

When you are thinking about setting up shop, the main thing to think about are fees, some offer monthly fees like Artfire, where as others like Etsy charge per transaction.  Per transaction is only good if you have a small amount of sales, once you get past a certain amount a month a monthly fee might be more for you.

I would stick with one platform though getting your buyers to move to a new platform is hard, believe me I have tried to get my buyers to go to Artfire, they simply wont, they like to buy from Etsy even if they are new buyers they prefer to open up an Etsy account even though I offer coupons for $4.00 off at Artfire & 20% off in my Shop Now account, they still pay more at Etsy, they pay more because Etsy charges more so I cannot offer lower costs with out loosing $$.  Etsy is trusted and that is why people tend to use it more, and that is a thing to consider when you are selling online, because #1 you need customers.

Good Luck and enjoy selling handmade!
