Finally

At last...
I finally listed a new item. I think it's been at least two weeks.
Anyway, here it is:

I named it the Good Night's Read bookmark...

Champagne Honey Dreams and Gawking at my Crafts

Champagne Honey

I am sooo happy that Neva made the treasury, see the screen shot to your left the title is "Champagne Honey" and here is the link
http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list.php?room_id=115604
We were talking about how we thought you had to be part of a group to get in one of those and then poof ... she get's on one with out doing anything... awesome, I am so happy for her, she ALSO got mentioned by the AWE team on their Facebook page the day prior, so I am glad she is getting recognition for all the hard work she puts into everything she does, she really has the cutest stuff around!! She also has some MORE secret jewelry that only I have had a sneak peek of and its BEAUTIFUL!!

And another screen shot for you, I am sooo happy I was on Craft Gawker yippie!!! I am so glad they like my photos makes me really happy, the first photo that got on the front page was one my sister took, and the second one I took so yay for us :)
I haven't been feeling well and with everything I am doing lately, I need to get caught up with things on Etsy etc.  I have been asked/volunteered to help out with the AWE Team blog set up/keep up and to be honest I can't wait to start invites, so I need to finish up formating the HTML and adding some special components and then start invites today yay!

I also am very SLOWLY, when I have time releasing new designs that I have been holding back (believe me this is hard for me to do every time I make something I want to throw it up on the Etsy site) I am soo excited about these designs, as they go to super fancy, and get a bit more girly, cartoonish, and are just plain fun to make and share!

Oh oh and I have a few people that I want to write about in our Sweet Treats Treasury that I have been meaning to write about, I am soooo.. excited... I found two great artist that I really am soooo excited to share with our readers, I know Neva and I were just clicking through their stuff and sooo.. amazed with the neat stuff that they had sooo..come back soon and be ready to click on some very beautiful links!!!

Corkycrafts...You Made My Day!!

Okay, it was really kind of a crappy day. So imagine my joy upon opening my e-mail and seeing that some wonderful person, Corkycrafts to be exact, included me in her treasury.

Corkycrafts...You made my day, thank you!!

Have a look. She included some pretty awesome stuff.

Busy Busy

Aimee has been trying to get me to list more on my artfire shop, but I just wasn't sure I could handle another shop on top of my etsy shop. With all the time I spend promoting that shop (which takes a ridiculous amount of time and I don't even do as much promotion as I should since I like to actually make my bookmarks, etc... more than sitting in front of a computer trolling twitter, facebook, forums, craigslist, etc... ), making things for the shop to compete with the "you must post daily" mandate everyone seems to think is the golden ticket to selling on etsy (I learned this week that it's not. Haven't listed in over a week and I got my very first sale to someone I don't know.), going to work, and saying hello to the husband and family once in a while (which I've been a totally neglectful wife and daughter, sorry), I didn't think I could add another shop to the mix.

However with the realization that posting everyday just isn't going to happen, I just decided to list more in artfire. I have seven things listed and I'll do a bit of promotion on that, and then let it ride.

I'm getting prepared for a jewelry show on the 6th of March at the California Museum here in Sacramento. The show's in honor of Women's History Month (March here in the US) and it's actually the real reason I just haven't kept up with etsy. I don't usually make jewelry, but I've managed to create a few pieces I'm proud of. I'm even making my own clasps and pendants. So It's been a challenge since I'm completely self taught.

Here are a few pictures. The first necklace is jade and the second is freshwater pearls.

Hee hee...new link

I came across this yesterday and just thought it was hilarious. The site focuses on the "what the hell were they thinking" items on etsy so at times it can be a little not safe for work (NSFW). But oh man it's pretty funny.

OMG!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE my Sister

Public Shout Out....

K, I just have to say publicly that my sister kicks ASS!! What an awesome job she did reconfiguring this blog. She mentions something about patience in our About Us section, and she seems to be learning a lot more about that than I because I just would not have had the patience to sit down and do this. So thank you little sister, you're one awesome bitch!!

New Listing...

Posted a new listing tonight. A brand new bookmark. Floow the link if you'd like to check it out.

Monday, Monday

I love the weekend. Especially 3 day weekends. (Even if I'm sick as was the case last weekend) If I could 4 tens I would be so happy. But that's just not the case, so off to work I went Monday, all the time wanting to be home. Plus the house is a mess. Being sick put me behind.

Well, enough lamenting about Mondays.

I listed two new items tonight. My sister and I went to the gem faire this weekend and we got some cute glass beads that look like ice. I made wine charms from those. you can see those here:

I also bought some silver and made some cute charms out of those as well. Have a look here:

I had so much fun making those. I have to get cracken again tomorrow. I need more inventory for the store. I want to crack 30 items for sale by Friday. I'm at 26 and I have at least two more to list. So I'll need 2 more. Gotta get working.

Have a wonderful week folks!!

New projects

Howdy,
Puppybowl today so I just have one quick post today. I listed a new bookmark

And I also finished four projects today, a necklace with pink agate, and three wine charms. No picks yet, but I plan on posting some tonight, so I'll post some here. The pink agate is beautiful. Love that stuff.
Gotta go, see ya!!

New Listing and still can't shake this cold...urgg!!

I've been fighting some sort of bug for over a week now and it's starting to annoy me big time that I can't shake it. But that's why I've been a bit late in posting here and listing anything in my shop.

But last night I sat down and made several new things I'm pretty excited about. The first of which I listed today. I was getting good at the pictures, but I think being sick is affecting my picture abilites. So please excuse the shotty camerea work.

Fireflies bookmark, #1 in lampwork series.

New Listing

Hi there,

Added a new listing tonight. A simple, blue, elegant bookmark perfect for both men and women.
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=39835648

Since I've been sick I'm going to try to get to bed early tonight, so this post is a little short of interesting content. But I've decided to set a few goals for myself this month and hope to start on those as soon as this body will let me.

First goal: This blog and some interesting content...and some readers who want to read some interesting content....

Second goal: Expanding my skills...look for some posts about my exploits.

Third goal: a little organization...I'm taking on a new and rather involved activity and I really have to manage my time better. Also, look for some posts on that...YAY!! (That's sarcasm there, but honestly, anyone who knows me knows this is gonna be epic.)

Have a nice night and see ya in the a.m.

Neva

Good times

I've been sick for the last few days and so I've been absent from both my shop and this blog. Now that I'm better, I hope to rectify that oversight...

Just got back from a wonderful day with my sister and her man. My husband and her boyfriend LOVE radio controlled airplanes. It's kind of fun, me crafting and he putting together his planes. Beats vegging out in front of the TV any day.

Well, today, while they were flying thier planes, we got together to try and make some improvements to this blog. Thanks to Aimee, I think the layout is much more easy on the eyes.

My Sugar Sister also got me on Twitter. I am now a full-fledged tweeter and you can check me out at twitter. com/chrmanomalies. You can also view Aimee's at twitter.com/mysweetweets.

Cool thing about twitter is I met a new seller on etsy and could not resist buying these: http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=24862454
Awesome stuff, by-the-way!

Have a good Monday folks, and if you're in the Sacramento, CA area, enjoy the sun...if it decides to peek it's way out from behind the clouds.

6 monts later... and a new listing

A thought occured to me last night around 2 in the morning; being online is a 24 hour thing. I know I'm an idiot for that having just occured to me, but I have this nagging fear all the time, that once I get an idea for my shop, I have to run with it right away or I'm losing valuable time and customers. But at 2 in the morning...it'll just have to wait. I still have a day job.

So it's a time management thing now. This is kind of fun!

On that note: I just posted a new listing for my Sweet-tarts wine charms, or as we Sugar Sisters affectionately call them "Whose Booze" charms. The picture is posted below. And if you'd like to have a closer look: http://http//www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=39324075&ref=em
